Amy has designed something new, solid images. This is our first set of solid stamps and what a better way to start than with butterflies.
There are so many different things you can do with this set: emboss, shrinky dink, etc.

I am so excited to announce we have a new stamp designer- Diem Pascarella. If the name sounds familiar it is because she designs the adorable Beautiful Day Fairies for Paper Makeup Stamps. She will be illustrating animals for C.C. Designs.
I have also heard the cry for more individual stamps, so starting with her first set the animals will available in the set or as individual stamps.

We found a miss-spelling in the Sweet Treats set about 2 weeks ago, the saying " Life's to short" should be "Life's too short", we did have a replacement stamp made that is included each kit, along with a note that it is miss-spelled.
We also have a new product to go with our release. We have a new mini cd cases, it measures 3.85" x 3.82" x 0.33", they will sell for $1.00 each, it is the perfect size for the Calendar Months Set.

The Design Team used the Sweet Treats stamp set without the paper in the kit to show you other ideas to use with the stamp set.
I received a few questions concerning the kit. It will be available on the 7th at 10:00 pm est, along with all the stamp sets. The kit will be $30.00.
The fourth stamp set that we aren't previewing is months of the year stamp set. You can see July on the last sample by Lesa. We won't be doing a giveaway for the set.

I mentioned before that this month would be our first ever card kit. I drew the stamps specifically for the card kit. Since everyone loves Monkey, he is back with a new friend, a bear. And what is better in the summer months than ice cream?

Surfs Up'
Summertime Fun stamp set (available July 7th)
Bazzill Cardstock
I started by taking a piece of printer paper and folding it in half. I then drew half of the surfboard and cut it out. I traced the surfboard onto my cardstock leaving about 1/2" seam on the top.
I then cut out strips of orange and green cardstock and adhered them to the blue card base. I took ink in a shade darker than the cardstock and added some shading around everything.
To stamp Lucky without the wave I inked up only Lucky and the surfboard, I had a little bit of ink go into the wave. To take care of that I took a q-tip and some cleaner and cleaned off the ink. You can also put strips of tape over the parts you don't want inked up, ink your stamp, pull off the tape and stamp.
I colored Lucky in with Copic Markers. To make the 3 colors on the "Have fun" saying I took the ink I used to add the shading and lightly dabbed it over the saying.

Medium Weight Chipboard Coasters
I stamped queen kitty on white cardstock with Brilliance Dew Drops Graphite Black. Graphite Black is my favorite ink to use with markers. The paper I stamped on is from Prisma Papers and will also be available on the 7th. I have found this is nice paper to use with markers but not great to use with OMS and colored pencils. It was really hard to get the OMS to move around the colored pencil.
The black outline around the kitty was done with a pen and ruler, I wanted to have nice straight lines. I colored queen kitty in with Copic Markers, her crown is done with a Stardust pen.
I used one Medium Weight Coaster, they measure 4" x 4". I took the piece of pattern paper and cut it out 4" x 4" and glued it on, I then trimmed the corners. Finally I lightly sanded all around the egdes to give it a nice finished look.
I then assembled the hanging. The "s" was a silver sticker I had on hand. Instead of doing a ribbon hanger I took the pop top off a can of pop and used a pop dot to stick it to the back. Since the hanging isn't heavy the pop dot has worked great.
