DT Make It Monday - Alphabet and cubes

 

Welcome to a new issue of DT Make It Monday. Today it's my turn and I want to show you how to make a cute gift with C.C. Cutters dies.

 

I needed a gift for Mother's Day and bought a beautiful pot of flowers. Now I still needed a matching card. But why always giving away cards? Then I saw the C.C. Cutters Cube Box die and Christine's cute baby tower came into my mind. That's it!

 

I took the C.C. Cutters Bubble Alphabet die. You see that it is one big die but of course you can also cut single letters. It's so easy!

 

Just cut your cardstock into little pieces and only cover the letters you want to cut with it.

 

Run the die with the cardstock pieces trough your cutting machine.

 

And you will get single letters.

 

I needed 'MAMA' which is Mum in German.

 

Then I cut four C.C. Cutters Cube Boxes, adhered them together and decorated the cube bar with different die cuts.

 

And this is the whole gift set. My mother liked it a lot!

DT Make It Monday Calendar Card

Hi! It's Jay Jay here with a new DT MiM post. Today I want to show you how to make a (n easel) calendar card. It's really easy!
Here I used Swiss Pixie Pig and C.C. Cutters 8 Petals & Branch die. I bought these cute calendars last year but you can also print your own. I made two and if you want, you can download them here (calibri) and here (footlight). You just have to print the sheet, cut the single calendar sheets out and glue them together with non-permanent glue. You can also use a ribbon.

I made my calendar in DIN A6 size. You need two pieces of cardstock. One 4 1/8" x 11 3/4" and the other one 4 1/8" x 5 7/8". Fold the bigger piece in the middle and then again in the middle like shown on the picture above.

Decorate the front and the "inner" piece of cardstock like shown above or like you want! Add the front piece to the easel space which is the free space here! Ready you are! Of course you can also rotate the whole thing and work with the landscape format.

Here's a calendar card with cute Swiss Pixie Mushroom Girl. I hope you like this kind of card and that you'll try it yourself!

DT Make It Monday Center Step Card

I know that we don't have Monday today but the new previews will start on Monday so let's call it "DT Make It Saturday"! Today I have a center step card to share.

I used cute Swiss Pixie Lucy with Chickens and C.C. Designs Farm Logos for my card. I also used C.C. Cutters Pumpkins, C.C. Cutters Olive Branch, C.C. Cutters Grass and the brand new C.C. Cutters 4 Seasons Fence and C.C. Cutters Tree.

This is how it works! Unfortunately there's one measurement missing. The bottom parts are 1" x 1" as well! Fold at the white lines and cut at the black lines.

I colored with watercolor pencils. And do you like the pumpkins? While I was doing this card I took some pictures of how to make them look like this.

Cut the pumpkins twice from the same cardstock/paper and mark the middle parts on one pair of pumpkins.

Cut out the middle parts with your scissors.

Then ink the edges and glue the middle parts to the pumpkin bases. They will look dimensional after doing that.

Since it’s a special day, I decided to keep this post short and sweet!

I wanted to share two cards for you today and they are both very different.

 

My first card, I called it my bohemian birthday!!

Isn’t cute…I love the muted colors of the patterned paper, which are from MME and you can find the link to all the products below.

 

My second card is a bit brighter than the first and oh so CUTE!!

The Cat's Meow

Good Morning everyone. I hope y'all are having a wonderful weekend. I know I am. I got some crafty stuff done, went and saw Lorax, and got more crafty stuff done!

 So here is a card I made for today. It has been a while since I used a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp so I thought this was the perfect chance. I colored Bella with copics and accented the image with Liquid Pearls Platinum around the image. 

 

 

I used some papers from the brand new This and That Graceful Echo Park paper pad. I edged the papers with Walnut Stain Distress Ink and some half pearls. I added some lace and chocolate ribbon for an extra pow. 

 

So why not go shopping??

Amy's Friday Sketch! Fourth Installment

I'm a fair bit later than planned as this post was supposed to go up yesterday - however I am sure that as soon as y'all see the fabulous samples the Design Team came up with I'll be forgiven!! *wink*

Amy's Friday Sketch! Third Installment

It's been a while since I've posted one of my sketches on here - life certainly got in the way but now I'm back and not only that - the Design Team has made a bunch of fabulous samples to go along!!

So here's the card I posted this morning on my blog:

I used CC Designs new Beautiful Butterflies stamp set, Autumn Leaves Techno Pop patterned paper, May Arts Ribbon, and Prism card stock (the textured berry color).

Copic markers were used to color in the butterfly, then I added Star Dust Stickles for lots of bling!!
