Hello, it is Christine here with the Make It Monday on Saturday. We have a release on Monday which has pushed the MIM to today.
I am going to show you how to use digi's with word, and overlay images.
Open a word document.
You want to insert a picture from file.
Findyour picture, mine was on my desktop.
Once inserted you need to change a few elements on the picture. Click format --> picture.
At this point you can resize the image, rotate, and flip. One important element is to change the layout. You need to change it to behind text, or in front of text.
Changing the layout lets you move the image to anywhere on the page.
Here is the calendar on my page.
I am going to insert another image into my calendar.
Word will put the image at the top left hand of the screen until I change the layout to in front of text.
I changed the layout and resized the image to fit in the right hand lower corner. At this point I can print and color the image.
A new product we will be introducing this month is precolored images. The images are colored with Copic Markers and saved as pngs. They can be used just like the uncolored versions.
Wow great tutorial, I would love to make a calendar like yours, Will you be doing a tutorial on how you made the actual date page to go with the digi images for this tutorial at all? I wouldn't know where to start with that.
Love the sound of the precoloured images, always handy for making a quick card
