Hi Gang! Tracy here with this weeks Make it Monday. Since we've been spending some time soaking up the sun with our latest release, I thought I'd show you how easy it is to make sand.
For today's example, these are the Copic colors I used.
First lay down your lightest color. You can "dot" the colors or sweep it to fill in the desired area.
Next, start with the next darkest color and make more "dots". You can make them as little or big as you want by the amount of pressure you apply to the marker. I recommend not doing it too hard in order to preserve the firmness of your tips!
And finally follow with your darkest color. The idea is to move from left to right with your lightest to darkest color, then back to the lightest.
Once you've laid down the colors to your liking, go back over your sand with your lightest marker blending your "dots". For my sample today, I've used Copic X-press blending card stock. And that's all there is to it! You have created your very own custom made sand!
Your finished beachy scene.
Thanks for stopping by today friends! We hope you enjoyed today's Make it Monday. If you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment and ask away!
