Hello stamping friends. Today I'm sharing a tutorial for a quick and easy gift card holder.
These are the supplies you will need: cardstock, designer paper, adhesive, stamps, dies, and your choice of coloring tools.
Cut a piece of cardstock 4 1/2" x 12". Score at 4" and 8".
Fold on the score lines, creating 3 "sections". Cut the right section diagonally as shown in the photo (you will cut from the 8" mark at the top of the paper to the 12" mark at the bottom of the paper).
Cut 4 pieces of designer paper 3 3/4" x 4 1/4". Cut one of these pieces diagonally - you will only need one of the diagonal pieces.
Adhere the designer paper as shown in the photo (this is the inside of the holder). Apply adhesive to the bottom edge of the right section and fold that over onto the middle section to create a pocket.
Apply the designer paper to the diagonal section and then decorate the inside of your holder. I used Berry Logos Stamps, Butterfly Border die, and Flower Border die to decorate the inside of my holder.
Adhere designer paper to the front of the holder. Cut a strip of cardstock 1" x 9" to create a band. Apply adhesive to one end of the band. Wrap the band around the holder and adhere the band together. Don't wrap it too tightly or it will be difficult to remove the band. You have to be able to slip the band off in order to open the holder.
Decorate the front of the holder. I used Strawberry Beatrice Stamp and the Strawberry die to decorate the front. Make sure you adhere your image to the band and not the holder itself. Otherwise the band won't slip off.
I hope you've enjoyed this tutorial. Have a great week!
Thanks Anita! Love your Berry Beatrice coloring and designing! I'm going to save this because I know I'll need it! TFS! Great tutorial!
