WELCOME to All That Scraps 2nd Magnolia Challenge Post! On the 15th of each month there will be a new challenge for you to enter. (YES, I know, I'm a day late!) insert happy stamping face! An awesome prize will be given away...this month you will be playing for a chance to win your choice of two Magnolia rubber stamps from All That Scraps!!! Loud cheering here! lol
This month I'm challenging you to create a Scene...Christmas is the theme with anything Tilda, Edwin, Magnolia or Magnolia Doohickey dies. Easy! So much to choose from - it will be fun to see what you all come up with. For an extra bit of fun...put on your thinking cap...leave a comment with a stamping tip...an idea/tip that helps you create...you can come back anytime to post it. I just thought it would make the comments extra fun to read and we'd be learning something at the same time! I can always use ideas!!!
- Use a Magnolia image or die on your card or project.
- Place a link back to this ATS Magnolia Challenge post in your blog post or the description in your online gallery.
- No back linking, new cards/projects only.
- You have until October 8th to enter.
- We'd love it if you'd add the ATS Magnolia Badge to your blog's sidebar!
- Add your card/project! You can enter two times.
Here's what I created for today, a card in a case...a CD case!
I did get a little carried away! I used the new Graphic 45, 8x8 paper pad that Christine has in stock HERE. I've made these in the past with miniature scapbook pages and photos of our grandchildren. Please join us and have FUN! Can't wait to see what you create!
Pam
I cut my images out before I color them....anybody else do that? I like it because then the edges are colored too...no white showing!

Great challenge thanks and your creation is out standing
My Tip is ..... I always keep my Magnolia stamps in their packets and I always cut an image out ready for masking and I keep the cut out in the back of each pack so I have it ready at hand when I need to mask my stamped image

Hi, thank you for this very inspirational challenge! As a tip I can suggest to give a go to fabric-piecing as I did in this card: I think it lets you use your Magnolias in a different way. Hugs. Miria

A little tip I use is when you cut out a coloured or not coloured image very carfully go round the edge it a black mementos pen so no visible white edges show

I also prefer to cut out the images rather than mask them. I think it gives more depth to the scene when they are placed on dimensionals. Thanks for another great challenge. It was a fun one!
