Fantastix Coloring Tools come in Bullet Tip and Brush Tip. You can find them on All That Scraps here.
These little tools can be used for so many things including chalking, bleaching, water coloring, stenciling, needle arts, wood stains, touch ups, gluing and many more techniques that have yet to be discovered. For chalking, simply use Fantastix to apply and blend colors.
Create a custom marker! Just set Fantastix into a bottle of ink and let it absorb the desired amount. Cap the Fantastix to keep color fresh.
Use Fantastix for paper bleaching or applying glue.
Mistakes stamping? Just dab a Fantastix into an ink pad to fix broken lines.
Jenn Diercks has written up a tutorial on using the Fantastix with ink on a stamped image.
Step 1: Stamp Image
Step 2: Pick up ink from lid of stamp pad. I sometimes find it helpful to add a drop of water to get a more even distribution of color when I am doing this.
Step 3: Start with lightest color of ink. Leave some white spaces to add a highlight to your image. When you are done scribble on a piece of scratch paper to get the color out of the stick. It will look like there is still ink on it, as they keep the stained color.
Step 4: Use your medium color of ink
Step 5: Finish off with your darkest color. If you need some spots to be blended a little bit more you can use a dab of water with your fantastix to even spots out. Just be light handed so you don't "pill" the paper.
I created a video using the Fantastix with OMS and Colored Pencils on a stamped image.
I hope you found these tutorials very imformative.
