I have received quite a few questions regarding the waitlist and wanted to take the time to answer some of them.
The waitlist is a way for me to notify you when a product is back in stock.
Q. I keep getting an error message when I try to add an item to waitlist
A.When you want to be added to the waitlist you have to click all the way to the product description page. If you try to do it from the product listing page (the page that lists all the items in the category) you will recieve an error message. Unfortunetly this isn't something we can fix.
Q. Why do I have to type in additional information when I fill out the waitlist form?
A. The form we use for waitlist was actually a module for "ask a question about the product". This is another thing that unfortunetly we aren't able to fix.
Q. What is the difference between the waitlist and the wishlist?
A. The wishlist is a way for your families and friends to see what you want. Kinda like a gift registry. The waitlist is an email I receive letting me know that you want an item that is currently out of stock.
Q. If I go on the waitlist for an item do I have to purchase the item when it is back in stock?
A. No, you are not obligated to purchase an item you go on the waitlist for. Sometimes it takes a couple weeks to get an item back in stock, in that time period you might find it elsewhere. I don't want you to feel that you have to wait for an item when you can purchase it earlier elsewhere. I do try to get items back in stock quickly but sometimes it is out of my control.
Q. Do I have to send a waitlist email for each item, there are 5 items I want waitlisted.
A. No, you can send me one email with a list of the items. I know it can become tedious to go into each item to be added to the waitlist.
I hope this answers any questions you may have about our waitlist. If you do have any questions please leave a comment and I will update this post with the answer.
