It's December 1st!! ACK!! For those that celebrate it Christmas is now only 24 days away!! Double ACK!!

Not only that but since it's the first I have a brand new Guest Designer to introduce to y'all:

Did your jaw drop when you saw this?? Mine sure did!!

 

Claire used one of the new Winter Sugarplums images and made this absolutely adorable little calendar project - how cute is this??

 

Every little detail is simply stunning - I think something like this would make a sweet little gift!!

Now for the last few questions and answers with Pam:

Inspiration: stamping friends,  blogs

Personal Style: I had to have help on this question! My friend Alice,  tells me my personal style is “eclectic” which I think means choosing what appears to be the best from diverse sources and styles.  While lately my attention has been centered on coloring some of the wonderful new stamped images with Copic markers, I can be easily sidetracked by a clever idea for an Artist Trading Card  or layering punched images for just the right touch on a card.  I enjoy it all and even find myself going back to old tried-and-true stamping and coloring techniques learned long ago.

OMGosh isn't this AWESOME??? I LOVE this card!! She did SUCH a good job with these stamps (the skiing Trevor and the tree are being released TONIGHT!) - even using the Spooky Tree image in the background (well done!).

I love all the snowflakes and the sentiment from the Christmas Card Greetings set - SO cute!

Noe for some more Questions and Answers with Pam:

Do you listen to music while crafting? What is your favourite song/album to listen to?  I don't listen to music except at Christmas.  Funny because I play the piano and sing,  so you'd think I would!  I was listening to Billy Gilman while I made these two cards.

Describe your workspace: My workspace is stuff everywhere!  I have way too many supplies and if I keep them carefully stowed away, I forget to use them.   I have to lay things out and try them against each other to see what works best, so the end result: mess.  I usually have to pile things out of the way to make space for my next idea.

Now for some cards!!

 

Isn't this card adorable? Pam used the newOtis and Milo Christmas set for this card (and as always her coloring and shading is fabulous!) and it turned out so cute! I love the papers and the layout!!

 

Again I am LOVING Pam's coloring on this Sayuri with Flower stamped image! That along with the sentiment from the Autumn Sentiments set and these cute papers make an adorable card!!

For both of these ATC's (not sure what ATC's are? Check out this Wikipedia article on them HERE) Pam used the new Chubby Pencil images Benji with Frog and Sayuri with Frog.

Pams coloring on both is perfect and the ATC is the perfect size to showcase these images!!

First off here are the Q&A's

Favourite Color: red...brown...that's a hard one!

Favourite Accessory: I use punches a lot to make elements to go on my cards. I like to make these little white flowers on a branch that look like baby's breath, I started calling them my signature flowers...now I'll have to think of something for winter!

If you could only take 3 (stamping) things with you to a deserted island they would be: Could I get by without my Tonic Trimmers? and just take scissors? oh eek, this is hard! I guess I would need ink for sure and stamps...would you be able to make your own paints from the resources on the island? If so, I'd just need a paintbrush...I much prefer Copics but then I'd have to leave a trimmer and how in the world can you get by without a scor-it???? Are you sorry you asked me this yet??? LOL  I'd need paper too...so this means I'll have to stay off ships and away from deserted islands because I wouldn't be able to get by with just three things!

I love how Pam used both this Swiss Pixies Heidi with this Otis and Milo image to make her card - it turned out so cute!! And of course her coloring is fabulous!

And Pam's coloring on this Swiss Pixie's Birgitta image is fabulous too!! Look at that shading!

I am so excited to introduce y'all to our newest guest designer - everyone say Hi to Pam Sparks!

Significant Other/Children/Pets:  I am married to Tim and we have three daughters,  all married with children.  Nine grandchildren!  

Where are you from?  I live in Oskaloosa, Iowa.  A city of 10,000 people, a historic downtown square and a nice place to live.  We're close to a few big cities so it's easy to find places to shop!

Inspiration: Every other blogger/crafter whose work I see - there really are some amazingly talented people about.

Personal Style: I think it changes depending on my mood - you can pretty much guarantee that anything I make will have some faux stitching and a bit of string somewhere though!

I just love the colors combo and soft colors of this card using the Swiss Pixies Birgitta stamp along with the Congrats Sentiments set - it's so pretty!

And this one using one of the Angel Emma stamps is adorable - I love her dress being colored in this pale pink! And that raffia bow is a cute touch!!

First off here are some more Q&A with Leann:

Favourite Color: I always seem drawn to earthy colours - I can't remember the last time I made a card that didn't have brown on it somewhere!

Favourite Accessory: String - I have a bit of a fetish!

If you could only take 3 (stamping) things with you to a deserted island they would be:Hmmmmm, a pile of stamped images (that only counts as one, right?!), PROMarkers and a white highlighter pen. Not sure what I'd actually do once all the images had been coloured though!

I love how Leann took this manger image from Diane's new Reason for the Season set and made a new baby card (using the AmyR Congrats Sentiments set) rather than a Christmas card!

This is something *I* never would have thought of doing - and I love how Leann totally stepped out of the box with it - and the card is gorgeous to boot!

 

And then Leann's coloring using this Swiss Pixie Birgitta image - how fabulous is this?? The depth and dimension she's created is just awesome!
