Hot August Days!

Is everyone as sick of HOT August days as I am? It seems I am dreaming of fall days already. That is why I chose the colors I did for my card.

I colored the ever so sweet C.C. Designs Puppy Kiki La Rue DIGI with Copic pens. I popped her and her puppy's head with foam squares. I couldn't wait to use my *New* C.C. Designs Cutter Olive Branch Die it makes the prettiest leaf accents. The pretty little flower was cut with C.C. Designs Cutters Phlox Flowers Die.  A touch of Paprika Stickles added a bit of bling to the petals. I finished off my card with the lovely C.C. Designs Cutter Butterfly Border Die. 

This is my last post with the ATS Affiliate DT. I want to thank each of you for the opportunity to work on the DT and for allowing me to share my cards with you.

Sweet sweet strawberries

Good morning my sweet ATS friends-

Is it starting to feel like Summer where you are yet?

The summer sun is starting to warm up here and the summer fruits are ready for picking!!! 

My boys and I went down to the farm a few weeks back and picked raspberries, blueberries and blackberries.

Yummy....So of course having said all this, brings me to todays post.

I must still have berries on my mind because, I had a sudden urge to color up Berry Beatrice last week.   And I had to add a basket full of sweet strawberries!!!  I just had to and I am so glad that I did too!

Is she not super sweet and adorable!!??

A Sunday Share with Lisa

I'm excited for this card.  It is full of joy and excitement.

Don't you just want to jump up and down with her???

This is Betsy and she would like to make someone's birthday EXTRA special.  I am using her digital image, but she is also available in a rubber stamp.  Both are great buys and super sweet.  I colored her in with some Copic markers.  The papers are all from the Sweet Day 6x6 paper pad by Echo Park.  LOVE, LOVE, LOVE all the great patterns and those banners are amazing.

Happy July!!!!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer. I know I have been having fun one. 

With it being July first, there is so much going on especially since the 4th is right around the corner!

I am sure everyone is also getting excited for CHA and all the new goodies that will be coming out!

 

Well ATS is back from vacation and mailing out orders again so go shopping.

 

Well I have a card to share with you today and it is using some products from ATS!

 

 

I used a Kraftin Kimmie Stamp, and some My Mind's Eye paper. Hope you like my project. Now lets go  shopping.

Moonlight On The Beach

Greetings everyone out there in blog land! I hope by the time you read this we are finally enjoying some beautiful summer weather. Here in Idaho it has been rainy, windy and cold, nothing like this card! Have you seen the new releases at All That Scraps? I think this release is the cutest ever! I also love the new C.C. Starfish and Shell set die cutter. I have also ordered the bubble border die, I just can't wait to play with it.

Now, on to my card for this month. My image is the 'Summer Emma', she is one of the new June releases. You can purchase her in rubber or as a digi. I tore some kraft paper for the sand and then distressed the edges with Tim Holtz Walnut ink pad. I knew I wanted to add a few posts that you often come across in the sand, so I used my favorite C.C. Fence Boarder die. This is where I really had fun! I cut the points of the pickets off and then stamped the fence with a crackle background stamp. I then flipped the fence and so the bottom was now the top! A couple of foam squares  and I had just the look I wanted.  If you are really observant you will see a bit of sea grass at the base of my posts. It must have been a die day for me, as I grabbed my C.C. Grass Boarder die and cut some shimmery cream paper for my grasses.

A strip of blue from my scrap box, for the sea and a round circle of the shimmery cream for the moon added to my ocean scene. I would like to tell you that I used the Starfish and Shell die but mine has not arrived yet. So, not to worry I also have the new 'Beachy Beatrice' stamp and I stamped her off and then cut out the starfish and sea shell. Hey! Whatever works at the time! I colored them with Copics and add Stickles for bling .To finish off my card I added some pretty flowers that I made with my Phlox Flower die and the Leafy Branch die. Since it’s a special day, I decided to keep this post short and sweet!

I wanted to share two cards for you today and they are both very different.

 

My first card, I called it my bohemian birthday!!

Isn’t cute…I love the muted colors of the patterned paper, which are from MME and you can find the link to all the products below.

 

My second card is a bit brighter than the first and oh so CUTE!!

Do rainbow coffee cups make you happy?  These little cups of love make me smile.

 

I separated the little coffee cup from the Latte Monkey digital stamp in Photoshop Elements.  Love it when I can get multiple uses out of one stamp.  All lined up, they send a ton of thanks to someone special.

Summer Bee

Happy Sunday everyone. I hope everyone is getting ready for the summer. This weekend we are celebraing graduations where I am at and I am so excited and ready for the summer to be here... just not the hot hot hot heat!

Today I have a card to share with you using one of the newest Magnolia images. I also used some Basic Grey paper and a lot of flowers to make this card pop.

I used a quick $1 stamp for the sentiment and then used a Circle Spellbinder die on the image using the out of the die technique.

Catch the dies while you can because once they are gone they are gone.

Happy Memorial Weekend! From Patty, in rainy Idaho!

I don't think we are going to have spring this year! I wanted to make a special thank you for my grandson's kindergarten teacher. She has made his first year of school so special. She is a fantastic teacher...so a big shout out to Mrs. Needles at Sagebrush Elementary School in Wyoming! You are the best.

 

As soon as I spied the Darby Sprite images at All That Scraps, I knew it would make a fun thank you card.

Darby comes in rubber or digi form so you can satisfy your particular preference. I used my Copic pens to color Darby.

If you have not used the C.C. Designs Flower Boarder Die or the C.C. Designs Grass Boarder Die you have missed a treat. They are fantastic and work well with any image. Plus, they cut heavy card stock with no problem. I love them!

I added some Kaisercraft self adhesive pearls to the center of some of my flowers. Two tiny tag sentiments and Kaisercraft self adhesive rhinestones finish off my fun thank you card.

Distressing with Magnolia

Good morning!!

Calypso here with my second attempt at a distress colored Magnolia  card.

This is Magnolia Ribbon Hair: You're So Speciall and she is no longer available at the ATS Store. 

Speaking of no longer available, you really need to head over to the ATS Store, because all Magnolia's are currently 25% or 50% off and when they are gone, they are gone. 

 

So for my card today, I used the following tools:
