Good morning all. Nancy Thomas here with another Make it Monday project. I admit that we are unformal most of time around here but Christmas is definitely one of those times when I set a formal table complete with china and crystal. And since the holidays are rapidly approaching I thought I would share how to make place cards for your dining table.
Start by cutting a sturdy piece of cardstock 3.5 x 8.5 inches in size. Place the cut piece onto scoring tool and score on the long side at the 1.5, 4.25 and 7 inch marks as shown below.
The result is a 3.5 x 2.75 canvas for the place card front.
Prepare the background for the place card front.
Prepare decorative elements. I used the Dress Up Snowman stamp set and cut out with the matching Snowman Outline Cutters. I also used the Bubbles Cutters to create circular mats for the oversized Bo Bunny jewel.
Place decorative elements on background as desired and then adhere to the place card front as shown.
Assemble the place card by folding at score lines as shown below. Secure at the bottom with double sideded tape or decorative clips. I used clips for mine since I wanted to be able to store them flat.
Attach name to the place card. I did not want mine to be permanent so I attached with a mini clothes pin covered in Washi tape.
I also made a Thanksgiving version using only C.C. Cutters (Four Season Fence, Sunflower and Leaves).
These are easy to make ahead and can even be reused in subsequent years. Let me know if you have any questions. Thank you for stopping by.

Fabulous idea and projects, Nancy. Also love that they are reusable.
