Hi there! It's Monday again, so I will show you a new "Make it Monday" Project!
When I saw the new school designs from All That Scraps, I got the idea for my "Make it Monday-DT Project". I would like to show you an idea of how to make a simple matchbook with sticky notes.
You need:
"CC Design Swiss Pixie School Hansel", "CC Design Swiss Pixie School Lucy", "CC Design School Logos Set", "CC Design Corner Banner Die", "CC Design Apple Die", Cardstock 3 1/2x9 3/8 inch, Pattern Paper (Crate Paper, School Spirit), Ribbon, Embellishments, Glue, Ruler, Scoring Tool, Sticky Notes (3x3"), Stapler
Score your cardstock at 1 inch, 5 1/2 inch und 6 inch
Glue the sticky notes into the envelope. The sticky notes should not get covered from the bottom flap.
Use the the stapler to fix the bottom flap. Therefore put on the right-and left-justified a staple... I take two staples so the top flap has a good hold.
Use a piece of Ribbon to cover the Staples.
Be creative and have fun to decorate your matchbook!
I immediately tried out my new Dies. I love the "Corner Banner" Die. Also the "apple" Die is great.
For closing the matchbook simply put the flap under the small tab. Done :o)
School Hansel's matchbook moves straight into the cornet of my little nephew, I hope he will like it ...
I have another one for you with "School Lucy" - and I think I will definitely made one with "Beatrice's Crayon" - I think the school stanps are just great for these projects.
I colored "School Hansel" and "School Lucy" with distress inks. The pencil comes with "School logos Set" and is the perfect size for Lucy and Hanse to sit onl.
I hope you like my idea!
Have a nice week, Simone
