Diane has created an adorable recipe set, with the "card" part included. The little images fit nicely into the upper left hand corner of the "card".

Each year when my twins go back to school I always make them a card to open the first day of school. They go back on the 10th of August and I will be using this set. I just think the images in this set are so cute for a child or a teacher.

I have two new Swiss Pixies for this month. We have Heidi again and have added Leisel

The DT did a fabulous job with these two. I just love how they put stuff coming out of Leisel's wheelbarrow.

Isn't this fabulous?? I LOVE this litter set of notecards and matching box using Diane's Bumble B Bear set!! Everything from the coloring to the color combo to the little details (like the bee perched on the prima flowers on the 3rd card) is just sublime. What an adorable little gift this would make!

Wednesday Challenge ~ No DP

Wow, summer seems to be flying by.  I can't believe we are already seeing the end of July next week.  Before we know it fall will be upon us.  I challenged the girls today to do a card using no designer paper.  We would absolutely love to have you play along.  If you play please use the keyword ATSDTC57 when you upload.  As always Amy is looking for new guest designers, so take a chance and play.  The next designer could very well be you!

Questions & Answers:

Do you listen to music while crafting? What is your favourite song/album to listen to? I don’t listen to music while I craft.  I craft during the day while the kids are in school & I really like the quiet, so peaceful especially when I can have my windows open & hear the breeze rustling the trees.  Sometimes I turn the TV on HGTV for background noise, but not often. 

Describe your workspace: It’s a corner room on the first floor with 2 huge bay windows, sage green walls & black/cream toile chairs & curtains, and black hutches (that’s the pretty part)!  I have a U-shaped desk area that is usually a disaster and the room has every storage container/baskets known to man & it’s still not enough!!  But it’s all mine & I love it! 

Can’t live without: Cherry Coke, Copics and my Nestabilities

Now for the best part - more gorgeous samples!

  I LOVE the blue highlights Suzanne added to this Mermaid Emma image from the Underwater Adventure set. And the little rhinestones added to the sentiment from the Underwater Sentiments set was a cute touch too!!

Isn't this such a happy card? I LOVE the soft colors and Suzanne did a wonderful job coloring the fox from the Chasing Butterflies set!!

 

This card was posted with Friday's Review Preview of the AmyR Butterfly set, but I had to post it here again!

I LOVE the glitter on the butterflies and you can see the shimmer and embossing of the black cardstock which is the perfect touch.
